September 5, 2009 - 4th Street Festival - 3:45 pm. - It is always an honor to dance at this proud Bloomington event! 4th Street Festival is a celebration of arts and crafts and shows the many talents of artists from around the country. Come and enjoy the sites, sounds, and shopping that 4th Street has to offer. Come for some belly dancing too! We will be dancing with Different Drummer Belly Dancers.
September 26, 2009 - Indy Pagan Pride Day - 2 pm., wooden stage in shelter, Broad Ripple Park - Come celebrate the great American tradition of religious freedom - and maybe even learn a thing or two about yourself! We will be dancing with Different Drummer Belly Dancers. Come enjoy the camaraderie, beautiful scenery, food, arts, crafts, and of course belly dance!
March 6, 2009 - Bloomington Belly Dances - 2009 - 7:30 pm. - John Waldron Arts Center - This event is a celebration of the many styles of belly dance here in Bloomington Indiana!!! You'll see everything from Cabaret to Tribal Fusion styles of belly dance to Flamenco. Different Drummer Belly Dancers is sponsoring this event with the Bloomington Area Arts Council so be sure to join us and support the arts in Bloomington!
December 9, 2008 - Halfla/Recital - 7:30 pm. - Allison-Jukebox Community Center - Doors open at 7 pm. Come enjoy a night of belly dance celebration as belly dancers and fans come together for a night of dance! This is free so bring everyone and get into the holiday spirit with some belly dance. Different Drummer Belly Dancers will also be there.
November 28, 2008 - Holiday Squeeze- 5:30 -7 pm. Pearls perform at 6:30 pm. - John Waldron Arts Center - Kick-off your holiday season with fun performances by Bloomington's artists. Different Drummer Belly Dancers will also join us.
October 18, 2008 - Wizard Rock Returns! - 8 pm. - Rhino's Youth Center - Wizard Rock is music written about and for the Harry Potter universe. Bands will often take on the persona of a Potter character when writing their songs. Tonight, Calypso's Pearls joins Rhino's Youth Center in celebrating the joy, fun, and good music that is Wizard Rock. The Pearls, along with DDBD, will take the stage and perform as "The Dancing Veelas"! Not only are we dancing, but the bands Tonks and the Aurors and the Chinese Chomping Cabbages will be there as well! Join us for a night you that will be sure to put a smile on your face!
September 27, 2008 - Indy Pagan Pride Day - From 1:30-2:15 pm. - Indy Pagan Pride Day provides the opportunity to learn about paganism and the Pagan Community. This fair hopes to eliminate prejudice and fear and celebrate religious freedom. So of course we have to be there!! Plus, Different Drummer Belly Dancers, will be going us for some great dancing. See you there!

April 20, 2008 - CCAT - Campus Coalition Against Trafficking (sex trafficking) - 2-5 pm. This will be the first performance by Calypso's Pearls. Come see this troupe show what fine dancers they are! And they are dancing for a good cause.
