Didi - Member of Calypso's Pearls

Didi. Didi's creative expression has always been very evident throughout her life. Drawing Picture of Didi and guinea pig. was her main outlet of creativity (she even pursued a B.F.A. for a stint of time) although she has constantly sought after other avenues through which to express herself, including flute and writing. Didi was first exposed and inspired by bellydance while in high school through a community dance troupe. Even though she instantly knew she Picture of Didi wanted to be a bellydancer, her first opportunity to explore bellydance was as a freshman at Indiana University with Donna Carlton. Didi quickly fell in love with bellydance.

Didi is currently pursuing dual degrees from Indiana University in Gender Studies and Elementary Education with a complimentary certificate for Teaching Reading. Currently, she is trying to save the world from varying social injustices such as sexism and the Congo rape epidemic.

When not saving the world, Didi lives with her boyfriend, Ryan, her awesome guinea pig, Minerva, and the many beautiful fish that liven-up her life. She is also very excited to be a part of Calypo's Pearls!
