Suzette is a single mother of 3. Her eldest, Jessica, was married in November of last year..and two younger children attend an elementary school in Bloomington. Suzette currently Manages a small bakery located in the Indiana Memorial Union building called Sugar & Spice.
Suzette has always been very passionate about music and dance. “I was enchanted by the beauty and grace of belly dancing. I have been belly dancing for 2 years now as a form of self-expression and meditation. “ To her it is a very spiritual experience. "I have studied with the greatest performers in Bloomington, Margaret Lion was my first and Anne Shaffer was my next teacher. Both of whom have taught me that magic is natural. It is harmonious movement of energies needed to create needed change. Belly dancing = magic. The music together with movement is such an expressive of joy." Suzette is now learned and thrived under the instruction of Teri Herron.
Since she has been dancing her children have also taken an interest in pursuing the art of dance.
